Issue/Introduction

Disaster Recovery or Planned Migration fails with this error.

Error - The object 'vim.Task:48df3e8c-837e-4ccf-b79b-############:dr.hbrProvider.HmsProxy.remoteSync90' has already been deleted or has not been completely created

Environment

vSphere Replication 9.0.2.2
VMware Live Site Recovery 9.0.2.2

Cause

This error occurs when a VM is removed from the SRM Replication tab but remains in the active Protection Group or Recovery Plan.

Resolution

Do not remove VMs from replication if they are still in a Protection Group. 

If the VMs are intended to no longer be protected make sure they are removed from both SRM Replication and the Protection Group.
