D Timed command in batch job or as an operator command

Issue/Introduction

Is it possible to issue the D timed command as batch or operator command? The need is to be able to issue the command once a minute, or regular interval, so the results can be compared to spikes seen after the event.

Ptf LU18814 introduces the SYSVIEW Performance Management Option for Db2 for z/OS (IDB2) D TIMED command as an operand of the MVS MODIFY command. e.g

Command MODIFY dcjobname,D TIMED
now displays request timing statistics as a Write To Operator (WTO) in the data collector job log.
