The Cluster Cost page displays cost metrics as “?” in Aria Operations.

Issue/Introduction

After upgrading Aria Operation Manager from 8.18.x to 8.18.5 The Aria Operations Cluster Cost shows unknown rates (?) for Compute Cost & CPU/RAM Base Rate.

Environment

Aria Operations 8.18.5

Cause

When the “Show Cost Savings” setting is disabled in Global Settings, when this option is disabled, the system does not calculate or display cost-related metrics, resulting in the values appearing as “unknown (?)”.

Resolution

Cluster cost savings are disabled by default. To view cost metrics, enable the “Show Cost Savings” option in Global Settings.

Steps:

1. Log in to Aria Operations Manager as an Admin user.

2. Navigate to Administration → Global Settings → Cost/Price.

3. Enable Show Cost Savings.
