"Error Writing to outputs.http" in Telegraf agent on Windows physical host

Issue/Introduction

The Telegraf logs contain the following error entries:

E! [agent] Error writing to outputs.http: Post "https://<CLOUD_PROXY_IP>/arc/default/metric": local error: tls: no renegotiation

Or

E! [agent] Error writing to outputs.http: Post "http://<CLOUD_PROXY_IP>/arc/default/metric": context deadline exceeded (Client.Timeout exceeded while awaiting headers) 

Environment

Aria Operations 8.18.x

Resolution

• Uninstall the previously installed Telegraf agent. (Refer to Manually Remove Telegraf Agents from Endpoints for details)
• Reinstall and reconfigure the Telegraf agent. (Refer to Error: "Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel" while installing Telegraf agent on the windows based physical server for details)
