In IGA 15.0, the user IP address is not being captured in the audit logs

Issue/Introduction

 

The user IP address is not being captured in the audit logs. While using the custom header from Siteminder and the siteminderheader.properties file. However facing an issue in finding the correct path to put this config file.

 

Environment

IGA V15.0

Resolution

To resolve the issue, follow the steps below

 

Take a copy of SiteMinderHeaders.properties from /opt/brcm/iga/inst/idm/iam_im.ear/config/com/netegrity/config or <app_server>/standalone/deployments/iam_im.ear/config/com/netegrity/config

Add your custom headers to the last part of this file.

Rename this file to headers.properties,

keep this new file in/opt/brcm/iga/conf/idm/siteminder location.

Restart the application server.

Validate your changes to <app_server>/standalone/deployments/iam_im.ear/config/com/netegrity/config/SiteMinderHeaders.properties

Now we can find the IP address in the Audit logs
