Which version of Greenplum Database does vSphere support?

Issue/Introduction

Currently using GPDB 6.28.1 on vSphere. Can we upgrade vSphere to 8.0U3e? Currently the documentation for GPDB 6.x does not include GPDB 6.28.1, is our GPDB supported on vSphere?

Resolution

While we haven't explicitly tested this latest version, there's nothing within the release notes that would indicate any sort of concern that it isn't compatible.

Similarly with Greenplum 6.28.1, we had explicitly tested GPDB 6.28.2 and nothing between these two versions would give any sort of concern that it isn't compatible just the same.

While not explicitly listed as tested, there's no concern from our side about compatibility.
