Issue/Introduction

Under the CloudHealth platform a Partner can pin credits to a particular customer/month where the credit originates from a linked account assigned to the customer via a billing block. This is done via Partner -> Partner Billing -> Assign Credits.

Resolution

Under all billing block types - Full Family, Consolidated, and Standalone. Credits are assigned first to the highest cost linked account/service combination for example - Linked account A, and EC2-Compute until the credit is exhausted, moving then to applying the credit to the second highest linked account and service.

Credit pinning won't factor in the account the credit originates from currently, in the case of needing to assign the credit to the designated payer for the billing please instead make use of a billing family type Billing Rule.
