• The vCenter server has been running for extended periods.

Environment

VMware vCenter Server 8.x

Cause

Photon OS runs for extended periods, leading to increased swapping to disk.

Resolution

Reboot vCenter Server and monitor the VAMI Health tab for 24–48 hours to ensure the swap utilization remains stable.
