Issue/Introduction

• Data collection failed due to an error. Please wait is seen when CISCO ACI device is added as datasource

Environment

• VCF Operations for Networks 6.13.0
• VCF Operations for Networks 6.14.0
• VCF Operations for Networks 6.14.1

 

Cause

This is expected behavior as the individual Cisco ACI leaf and spine switches as datasources are not supported as part of integration with VCF Aria Operations for Networks. 

Resolution

1. Delete the individual leaf and spine switches added as datasource from VCF Operations for Networks GUI.
   
   
2. Add the respective CISCO ACI APICs (Application Centric Infrastructure) as a data source in VMware Aria Operations for Networks. 
   
   
3. Once the CISCO ACI APICs (Application Centric Infrastructure) are added as data source in VMware Aria Operations for Networks the error message should not be seen on the GUI.
