Issue/Introduction

As a user, I want to display (parts of) a string metric in a widget that takes only numerical values, e.g. graph.

Some custom agents send data as strings e.g. Secure Proxy Server (SPS) metric "Proxy rules fired" which is sent as string "{Unknown=12345}". I want to display the value 12345 in a graph.

Field > Standard Options > Regex pattern "\{Unknown=(.+)\}" works to show just the number in a table widget but not for graph.

Resolution

An enhancement requested was already raised in order to have it. It will be evaluated and put in our backlog to be deployed soon.
