Resolution

Within an application a link or task is trying to force complete job and the statement below is incorrect. To complete a job you need to specify the application and generation of the job you want to force complete.

ESP1007I ESPNOMSG AJ jobname.qualifier COMPLETE APPL(.)  

EXAMPLE1: This will force complete jobname.qualifier in the current application and generation.

ESP AJ jobname.qualifier COMPLETE APPL(%ESPAPPL..%ESPAPGEN) 

EXAMPLE2: This will force complete jobname.qualifier in application TESTAPPL generation 100.  

ESP AJ CHECKJOB COMPLETE APPL(TESTAPPL.100)
