HCX inventory does not reflect updates in VCD inventory changes

Issue/Introduction

• You are running VCD 10.6 or higher
• You can see VCD inventory in HCX after initial install.
• You cannot see any VCD inventory changes in HCX after initial install.

Environment

VCD 10.6.X

Cause

HCX requires a functional RabbitMQ service in order to do incremental inventory updates, although in vCloud Director 10.6.x and higher RabbitMQ has been deprecated: VMware Cloud Director 10.6 Release Notes, it is still a requirement to configure it for integration with HCX.
