WA Agent installation on windows server does not complete, a file called PROGRAM exists in root drive

Issue/Introduction

WA Agent installation on Windows server fails and does not report error. A file called "program" with no extension exists in the root drive.

Environment

Workload Automation Agent: Any

OS: Windows

Cause

The Program and "Program Files" are special names for directory in Windows.   Users should not create any file or directory with names and characters that are reserved or are considered special names.  Always consult OS vendor list of any special characters and names.

Resolution

If setup is not installing, then rename the "Program" file to something else.  Then install the WA Agent as Administrator on Windows.
