AAI is showing multiple AutoSys jobstream runs when a job enters a Failure state and is later set to Success

Issue/Introduction

AAI displays duplicate jobstream runs when an AutoSys job failure is manually updated to success

SYMPTOMS:

• Multiple jobstream runs appear for a single run of the target job

• One run remains "In Progress" while another marks as "Completed".

• Gantt chart shows upstream jobs unlinked from the jobstream run.

 

CONTEXT: Occurs when using the AutoSys "sendevent" command to change job status from Failure to Success.

 

IMPACT: Incorrect monitoring data and broken visual dependencies in AAI.

• Scheduler: AutoSys

• AAI: 24.3.x and earlier
