When running Uninstall in IMDataRepository_vertica*/Uninstall it fails unable to find a JVM

Issue/Introduction

The error seen is the following:

No valid Java virtual machine could be found from your PATH environment variable.  You must install a valid VM prior to running this program.

 

Cause

To run the Uninstall function, a system supplied Java install is needed

Resolution

Running the 'Uninstall' command is not necessary to remove the IMDataRepository_vertica* directory.  The can be accomplished with two calls:

1. rm -rf IMDataRepository_vertica<version>

Note: <version> is the version of Vertica that was installed, ex 24

2. rm -rf /var/.com.zerog.registry.xml
