Issue/Introduction

  • We receive an error while we try to add content from Marketplace in Content hub at the step Select Applications:

[ 07xxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxf6  ] 400 Bad Request: "{"id_token":"","token_type":"","expires_in":0,"scope":"","access_token":"","refresh_token":""}"

  • You have configured the VMware Marketplace in the Provider UI using an api token taken from Broadcom Portal

Environment

VMware Cloud Director 10.6.x

Cause

You are usign an invalid api token to be used for the VMware Marketplace configuration.

Resolution

To resolve the issue, you will need to Access the following link to obtain the marketplace token to be used in the configuration: https://console.cloud.broadcom.com/my-account/api-tokens/generate-new-token

NOTE: make sure that you are using the correct user which allow you access to the Marketplace
