Storage policy set on vCloud Directory (vCD) does not reflect exactly in Aria Operations

Issue/Introduction

Aria Operations built-in Chargeback were not correctly identifying storage policy.

Storage policy configured for a VM in vCD as "High Performance" is reflected as "Performance" in the Aria Operation, which leads to wrong billing prices in Aria Operations' Chargeback

Environment

VMware Aria Operations 8.18.x

Cause

Misconfiguration of the advanced setting in the vCD adapter in Aria Operations as the Enable Advanced Metrics advanced setting of vCD adapter instance is set to FALSE, which leads to the storage profiles not being collected at VM level.

Resolution

Update the advanced setting for Enable Advanced Metrics to TRUE.
