vApp Templates do not show associated to a Catalog in VCD

Issue/Introduction

• vApp Templates do not show associated to a Catalog in VMware Cloud Director (VCD).
• vApp Templates without catalogs.
• Deleting a vApp Template results in the following error:
  
  com.vmware.cl.exception.LibraryItemNotFoundException: Catalog Item not found: urn:uuid:########-####-####-####-############
  
  
• Copying the vApp Template results in the below error:
  
  This operation is denied
  
  
• The affected vApp Templates are missing from the catalog_item database table.

Environment

• VMware Cloud Director 10.6.1

Cause

The vApp Template's entries in the VCD database are in an invalid state where they are missing a link to their Catalog.

Resolution
