Running Symantec Identity Security Platform (Symantec IDSP, formerly known as VIP Authentication Hub), how to stop the IDSP, to avoid it trying to write to the database?
This is to ensure that there's no call to the database done.
The Database team will be performing updates and changes to the IDSP production database.
There is no way to put the IDSP product into read-only mode.
The best advice recommendation is to schedule a maintenance window where services are shut down - scale pods to zero so everything gets shut down.
This will enable a copy of the database without changes happening.
