Unable to SSH into SSP Worker or Control Plane Nodes via CAPV

Issue/Introduction

SSH access to SSP worker or control plane nodes using the CAPV user fails. 

Environment

SSP 5.0/5.1

Cause

This issue occurs when the SSH public key used by CAPV changes or becomes inconsistent between:

• The SSP management VM
• The Cluster API (KCP / KubeadmControlPlane) configuration

Resolution

Important Note : 

SSP does not support generating a new SSH key for CAPV after deployment.

Any mismatch must be corrected by restoring the original SSH key. Please contact Broadcom support for further assistance.
