Issue/Introduction

• Deploying  a VCF Operations for Logs instance using VCF Fleet management fails with the following error:

Error Code: LCMCOMMON80026
Infrastructure validations failed.
Infra validation failed com.vmware.vrealize.lcm.common.exception.EngineException: Infra validation failed

• The log file /var/log/vrlcm/vmware_vrlcm.log on the Fleet Management appliance shows the following exceptions:

Resolution

• There is an issue with DNS resolution for the FQDN of the VCF Operations for Logs appliance. Ensure that the DNS server for the environment contains forward and reverse lookup records for the Operations for Logs appliance.
