Creating a New Virtual Machine in vCenter fails with error: Error Loading Data

Issue/Introduction

• New VM creation under vCenter UI will fail with error: Error Loading Data
  
  
  
  
  
• Under vCenter's /var/log/vmware/vsphere-ui/logs/apigw.log, below error log snips are available:

Cause

This issue occurs if there is an Authentication failure with the vCenter.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, follow the steps below:

1. Reboot the vCenter.
2. Retry the VM creation Task.

Additional Information

This issue may also occur, due to high vCenter uptime.
