Cannot find restored files quarantined from the SalesForce Securlet

Issue/Introduction

Unable to find a restored file that was previously quarantined by the SalesForce securlet.

Affected files were stored in custom objects inside of SalesForce.  Files stored in other containers in SalesForce are not impacted.

Environment

Salesforce with users storing files in custom objects

Resolution

This has been fixed for files scanned and quarantined by the SalesForce securlet after 3.186 (December 11, 2025).

 

Additional Information

Recommended workaround for existing files:

  • Manual restore outside of DLP\CASB
  • Broadcom can set a default object container to restore the files.  End user would need to go find the file in this default location after the restore.
  • If the customer has retain event logs as an option it maybe possible to fix the files within the last year.
