Issue/Introduction

When are VCLR IRR upgrade/cancellation notifications sent.

Environment

VMware Live Cyber Recovery

Cause

The VLCR upgrade first goes through a pre-plan phase to ensure all requirements are met for upgrade.  Once the upgrade pre-plan phase is approved and ready to stage the official upgrade email notification is only then sent.

Should it occur that the upgrade  pre-plan phase is aborted, NO upgrade email notifications may be generated.

It may then occur that upgrade cancellation email notifications could be received by users, without having received the initial upgrade notification

Resolution

VLCR upgrade cancellation notifications can be ignored if no initial upgraded notification was not received.
