Issue/Introduction

Since the Kubernetes community has announced the retirement of the ingress-nginx project (official announcement)  starting March 2026, the community will stop providing bug fixes and security updates for ingress-nginx.

Is there any official recommendation from Broadcom regarding replacing NGINX with other Microservices ingress controller ?

Resolution

Broadcom Eng team is actively working for NGINX replacement and planning to have the changes with all the details in the 4.0.2 release tentatively but if there any changes, this KB article will be updated.
