Issue/Introduction

Event Processing Manager (EPM) not getting started post OS patching followed by reboot. Getting below error in the EPM logs:

Caused by: java.sql.SQLException: Table './events/events_archive' is marked as crashed and last (automatic?) repair failed

Environment

All supported releases of Watch4net|M&R

Cause

EPM is unable to write archived events to events_archive table as it is crashed, hence EPM is shutting down.

Resolution

In order to repiar events_archive table run APG_HOME/bin/mysql-database-check.sh on events DB and then start EPM service.
