Copying a project does not work - Troubleshooting

Issue/Introduction

Trying to copy a project in MUX and getting an error Copy Failed - API-1018 : Could not process the request. Refer to error code for more details

Environment

All Supported Clarity Releases

Resolution

• Create a new project with no tasks or assignments, check if you are able to copy it
• Try copying from Project Timeline - right click - Copy with Children  or Project Grid - right click - Copy. Note if the error messages differ
• Make sure there are no processes starting on that project
• Disable Audit on the project/task/assignment, see if that helps
• Check all subobjects - any that get automatically created
• Check in Studio for any hidden subobject pages
