Unable to power on one of several vSAN File Services VMs

Environment

vSAN 8.x

Cause

Affected FSVM was inaccessible due to damaged objects comprising it.  Review of the FSVM object output shows

Resolution

Since the data in the affected FSVM exists in the sister FSVMs, we only need to recreate the affected FSVM per below:

  1. Place the host into maintenance mode
  2. Remove the FSVM for the host from inventory
  3. Take the host out of maintenance mode
