There are offerings/folders that are available for end users but have an unavailable date set.
This started after the upgrade from 17.3 to 17.4.
Service Catalog 17.4 RU5 and previous releases
Defect with 17.4 RU5 and previous releases.
Workaround: Remove the "Unavailable After" date for the offering/folder, Save, set the "Unavailable After" date. This allows to change the status to "System Object-Unavailable" and the Offerings/Folders are not available anymore.
To Remove or set the Unavailable After date:
1. Log into Catalog as administrator | Catalog Tab | Service Offerings tab
2. Click on the offering/folder under Offerings | Details tab
3. Remove or Set the "Unavailable After" date.
4. Click on Save.
Solution: This issue will be resolved in 17.4 RU6 and 17.5 (ETA Q3 2026, subject to change) where "unavailable" offerings will not be made "available" after re-import of the content pack.
