Radio Button or CheckBox is not enabled for pushbutton

Issue/Introduction

When a user enters the function the first time, they are presented with a record. Since the record is not changed at the beginning, the “Change" pushbutton appears disabled. Once the user changes anything in the record, the pushbutton turns to Default (Enabled) so that the user can change it immediately. This works well for any WinC controls that we checked, but for Java controls radio buttons and check boxes don't become enabled.

For Java program, if the change is made for any of those controls, Plex does not notice it and keeps displaying the "Change" pushbutton as disabled.

Environment

Plex 7.3.0 with java

Cause

This is a behaviour that was observed with Java code generation and will be addressed in later releases.  Specific GA release TBD as of Jan, 2026.

Resolution

A point fix is available.  Please contact Broadcom Support for details.
