Issue/Introduction

  • You edit a NAT rule.
  • The NAT rule's "Type of Service" is "ICMP" and the "ICMP code" value is null.
  • The rule does not work properly after editing.

Environment

VMware NSX

VMware NSX-T Data Center

Cause

If the "Type of Service" of a NAT rule is "ICMP" and the "ICMP Code" is null, editing the rule will automatically set the "ICMP Code" to 0.

Resolution

This issue will be fixed in a future version.

If you don't need the "ICMP Code" then remove that value.
