Error determining the primary reader service probe

Issue/Introduction

On secondary remote hub which is connected to Primary hub via tunnel hub getting below errors in the configuration reader service probe logs:

Dec 11 11:39:44:795 ERROR [pool-11-thread-1, com.ca.uim.probe.mcs.readerService.ReaderServiceEngineFactory] Error determining the primary reader service probe.Received status (12) on response (in sendRcvLogin) for cmd = 'login'
Dec 11 11:39:44:802 INFO  [pool-10-thread-1, com.ca.uim.probe.mcs.readerService.ReaderServiceProbe] Relogging in
Dec 11 11:39:44:808 ERROR [pool-3-thread-1, com.ca.uim.probe.mcs.readerService.ReaderServiceEngineFactory] Error determining the primary reader service probe.Received status (12) on response (in sendRcvLogin) for cmd = 'login'

 

Also, the below message is found in the controller logs:

Dec 12 07:23:21:857 [27424] 0 Controller: login - unauthorized probe configuration_reader_service (xx.xx.xx.xx/56486)

Environment

• UIM 23.4.5
• probe: configuration_reader_service 23.4.5

Resolution

Resolution is to security validate the probe using Infrastructure Manager.

• Connect to the secondary hub
• Right click the configuration_reader_service probe
• Select Security and then validate
