This document will walk you through installing / importing the security certificate in to your browser so the security message does not come up.
When accessing the ADMIN UI for EEM, you will receive the following warning messages: "There is a problem with this website security certificate"
This is due to the security certificate not being imported into your Internet browser.
CA EEM 12.x
Click on "Continue to this website (not recommended)."
Once you get to the ADMIN UI page. you will see a "Certificate Error" button. Click on "View Certificate ".
This will open a new window where you can see the certificate details; click on "Install Certificate" to start the import process
Once you click on the "Install Certificate", the Certificate Import Wizard appears. Click on "Next".
You will need to click on radio button next to "Place all certificates in the following store" and click on the "Browse" button. Select "Trusted Root Certification Authorities" from the list and click OK.
Click on Finish and you should see the success message shown below.
Once you have imported the Certificate successfully, you need to close out the browser and re-open the browser and access the Admin UI again.
Note: The certificate that has been imported is attached to your machine name and NOT "localhost" you will need to change the URL of the Admin UI to say the actual hostname for the error not to show up again. The URL should be http://hostname:5250/spin/eiam.
