Autosys / dSeries jobs in Windows WA agent fail with exit code 1

Issue/Introduction

After the WA agent upgraded, the command / script jobs are failing with exit code 1.  The stdout or spool will show output like this;

The system cannot find the path specified.

 

Environment

OS: Windows

Workload Automation Agent: 12.1 or above

Cause

The user profile may be missing.  Check the environment variables.

Resolution

If the user jobs uses environment variables, then Agent will need the profile or waae.txt to resolve any variables defined in the job.
