Log bundle generation fails via Fleet Management due to vIDB cluster node placement

Issue/Introduction

Log bundle generation for VCF Identity Broker (vIDB) fails when initiated from the Fleet Management UI or Command Line Interface (CLI). The task starts but eventually times out.

Environment

VCF Operations 9.0.x

Cause

The VCF Identity Broker (vIDB) cluster nodes are distributed across different storage datastores within the cluster. The VMware Solution Platform (VMSP) configuration for the vIDB service is currently hardcoded to point to a single datastore path. When Distributed Resource Scheduler (DRS) places vIDB nodes on different datastores, the VMSP configuration cannot follow the multiple or changing paths.

Resolution

This issue is tentatively planned to be resolved in a future VCF Operations 9.x release.
