When creating new Cloud Director environment unable to connect Standby database to Primary.

Issue/Introduction

During deployment of Standby Cell the following occurs:

 - Connecting to NFS from VAMI reports Error, but then retry is successful.

 - Configuration fails with the following - /opt/vmware/var/log/vcd/configure-vcd.log:

Timeout connecting to Primary Node Postgres DB.

ERROR: connection to database failed
DETAIL:
connection to server at "###.###.###.###", port 5432 failed: timeout expired

 - Details of the following command show that eth0 and eth1 are using the same network.:

ifconofig

Environment

Cloud Director 10.6.x

Cause

eth0 Network IP Address and eth1 Network IP Address are using the same network.

Resolution

Cloud Director Primary, and Secondary cell will need to be redeployed with eth0 Network IP Address and eth1 Network IP Address changed to be on separate networks, as required.
