Unable to accept Aria Operations for Logs certificate in Aria Operations.

Issue/Introduction

• Test Connection for Aria Operations for Logs account shows expired certificate in Aria Operations.
• Verify Aria Operations for Logs certificate validity using below command.
  echo "" | keytool -list -keystore /usr/lib/loginsight/application/etc/3rd_config/keystore -rfc 2> /dev/null | openssl x509 -noout -enddate

Environment

Aria Operations 8.18.x
Aria Operations for Logs 8.18.x

Cause

Aria Operations for Logs certificate is expired.

Resolution

In order to allow the Aria Operations for Logs certificate to be accepted in Aria Operations, the certificate must be renewed. 

Refer to Install a custom certificate in VMware Aria Operations for Logs 8.12 and Later KB article to renew Aria Operations for Logs certificate.

Once certificate is renewed, perform following steps in Aria Operations.

1. Click Administration > Integrations.
2. Edit Aria Operations for Logs adapter.
3. Click Validate Connection
4. A prompt comes up asking the user to import the associated certificate. Click OK.
5. Restart the adapter collection from the Integrations page.
