Issue/Introduction

Some Azure service costs in CloudHealth may appear under the “Other” service category rather than under a specific Azure service name. This is most common when Microsoft has recently released a new Azure service and its charges are just beginning to show up in Azure billing exports.

Resolution

When a new Azure service first appears in the billing data, CloudHealth may not yet recognize it, so those charges are automatically grouped into the “Other” category until engineering can map the service into its own category. This reclassification can take several weeks or sometimes longer, depending on prioritization. In the meantime, you can open the Azure Cost History report, click into the “Other” category, and use the drill‑down table to review the detailed line items behind those charges.

As a best practice, verify that your Azure billing accounts and subscriptions are configured correctly and showing a healthy status so CloudHealth can ingest all available billing information without gaps.
