Issue/Introduction

Once Tomcat has been setup for web services, how do you confirm communication is working ?

 

 

Environment

Release: All Supported Releases
Component: Endevor

Resolution

1. Confirm the Tomcat (WSTOMSTC) started task is active.

2. On the server when Eclipse will be installed, bring up a browser session. Enter the hostname port, web services directory in the url:

http://<host>:<port>/EndevorService/services/EndevorService?wsdl

If you see XML language, Tomcat is correctly installed.
