vSAN UI Fails to Load in Older Firefox Versions

Issue/Introduction

The vSAN management interface fails to render correctly.
Specifically, the Monitor and Configure tabs do not display data.
This issue occurs when accessing the vSphere Client via older Firefox browsers. Users may see a blank screen.

Environment

VMware vSAN 8.0

Cause

This is caused by a lack of support for JavaScript private fields. Firefox versions older than 90 (e.g., v82) do not support this feature.
The specific error observed in the Web Developer Tools is: Uncaught SyntaxError: private fields are not currently supported

Resolution

Using Firefox version 90 or later will display the vSAN management interface.
