Issue/Introduction

Multiple events generated in the Console with the description "MESSAGE WITH STRING ID 0 HAS INVALID SUBTYPE(0)"

Environment

• App Control Server 8.11.0 and higher
• App Control Agent 8.10.0 - 8.10.4

Cause

After a recent upgrade, the App Control Server cannot process certain types of data coming from the Agents.

Resolution

Typically these events can safely be ignored and will subside after 2-3 days without causing issues. However, a fix (EPCB-2441) was included with the release of Agent 8.11.0 and upgrading will resolve the issue.
