Issue/Introduction

JCLCheck issues errors: 

    CAY6606E  CATALOG SEARCH INTERFACE ERROR:  'ENT E0 006 050'
    CAY6606E  CATALOG SEARCH INTERFACE ERROR:  'ENT D  064 064'

Cause

Error is issued due to security authorization failures

Resolution

1. Review the JCLCheck job log and look for security violation messages. 

    Sample Top Secret error messages found in the listing: 

TSS7220E 102 J=jobname A=acid VOL=volume ACC=READ DSN=catalog.dsname

TSS7227E READ Access Not Granted to Dataset catalog.dsname

2. In the above example, the Top Secret reason code is 102 "Data set accessed at unauthorized level".  The solution is to permit ACID READ access to the catalog.dsname
