How to display IP addresses of multiple VM NICs in Aria Operations report

Issue/Introduction

• It's required to generate report to list all ip addresses of virtual machine in Aria Operations.

Resolution

This can be achieved by creating a custom View and then referencing that View in a Report Template. Please follow the steps below:

1. Create a new View

• Create a new View in vROps and set the Selected Subject to Virtual Machine.
  
  
• Click the button under Add Object Name, and in the Select Object dialog, choose a virtual machine that has multiple network adapters.
  
  
• Under the VM properties tree, navigate to
  Properties → Network → 400X → IP Address,
  and double-click the IP Address property to add it to the right-hand pane.
  
  
• Repeat this process to add the IP Address properties for the remaining NICs.

2. Create a new Report Template

• Create a new Report Template and reference the View created in Step 1.
  
  
• Once the report is generated, the IP addresses of all VM network interfaces will be displayed as expected.
