Environment

Cause

The consolidation process for the VM disk resulted in an error because the disk the VMDK resides on has an underlying hardware problem.

Resolution

• Contact the storage array vendor for resolution of the hardware error residing on the LUN-presenting device.
• Snapshot consolidation will successfully complete once the storage issue has been fixed.
