Issue/Introduction

• In the HCX GUI, “Encryption for Network Extension Services” and “Encryption for Migration Services” are grayed out and cannot be selected.
• GUI displays the message “Underlying uplink network(s) are not secure.”

Cause

For encryption to be disabled, “The underlay is secure” must be enabled in both the on-premises and cloud network profiles.

Resolution

Please enable “The underlay is secure” in both the on-premises and cloud network profiles.
