Workload Automation AE SAP adapter test connection fails with error: %CASAP_E_993 Message: Password logon no longer possible - too many failed attempts

Issue/Introduction

When attempting to configure the Workload Automation AE SAP adapter 3.2.x to communicate with our SAP system we see the following error when testing the connection: 

%CASAP_E_993 Message: Password logon no longer possible - too many failed attempts

Resolution

The above message suggests the id is locked in SAP.

Perhaps the password entered into the SAP Adapter was incorrect and it was attempted X number of times which led to the id being locked.

Or it could have been locked for other reasons, by the admin or some other application attempting to use an incorrect password too many times.

You should consult the SAP System Admin Team and have them look into the ID to confirm its password and unlock the account.
