  • The Tier-1 gateway is not connected to the next-hop network.

Environment

VMware NSX

Cause

Static routes are not installed on the Edge node because the Tier-1 gateway is not connected to the next-hop network.

Resolution

Connect the Tier-1 gateway to the next-hop network by creating a service interface or another appropriate interface on the gateway.
