sdgtw 2.37+ ignores newline characters in Description Custom value

Issue/Introduction

Since deploying sdgtw 2.37 line breaks in the Description → Custom value are ignoring newline break "\n". 

Even though in Event Field Mappings, "Custom Value" contains line breaks, the alarm is coming all in 1 line

 

Environment

• DX UIM 23.4.*
• sdgtw 2.37 / 2.38

Cause

Defect in sdgtw 2.37 / 2.38

Resolution

The attached sdgtw hotfix resolves the issue. After deploying the fix, new line break ( \n ) are honored in the alarm.

Steps to apply the fix: 

1) Download and import thesdgtw package attach to this case 

2) Deploy to the sdgtw robot

3) Observe how new field in SD (eg. Service Now) \n is translated to new line break
