Toast Error on MUX login 'An error occurred while retrieving general preferences'

Issue/Introduction

After upgrade, error is throwing on MUX login 'An error occurred while retrieving general preferences'. This may happen for all the users

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
1. Set-up Clarity with MUX and demo data
2. Navigate to MUX URL directly and login.

Expected Results : To be logged in successfully with no error messages
Actual Results :- A toast error message is thrown : "An error occurred while retrieving general preferences"

  • All the API/Network calls in the browser trace have HTTP 200 status
  • No console error messages
  • The API call /ppm/rest/v1/private/personalizations?fields=userid,component,personalizations&sort=userid&filter=((component = 'general') and (userid = 1))&_cb=1765284091075 returns data and is not erroring out.

Another way to reproduce the issue is to open a new tab and key in http://<hostname>/pm in new tab while the old session is still alive.

Flushing browser cache can help for some time, the problem would reappear
