NSX Backup & Restore page is very slow to fully load

Issue/Introduction

• The NSX Backup & Restore page does not display Last Backup Status or Backup History data initially.
  
  • The Last Backup Status is "Not Available".
  • The Backup History section shows a spinning circle.
• After some time, the Last Backup Status and Backup History are displayed as expected.
• There are a large number of  backups present in Backup History (hundreds).

Cause

When the Backup & Restore page is loaded, it queries the backup sever for available backups. If there are a large number of backups present, the page will take a long time to load.

Resolution

The instructions at Remove Old Backups can be used to automate the deletion of older backups.
